Patchi Chocolate

A year ago, my aunt who works in Abu Dhabi University, brought home a special treat for all of us. Patchi chocolates ^_^

According to her and to my former grade-school teacher (who now works in Dubai) these chocolates are quite expensive. And a few years back, this brand was not even available here in the Philippines. So, receiving boxes full of assorted Patchi chocolates was a fantastic treat. Thanks Rae! ^_^

I personally loved the dark chocolates. The one's wrapped in silver. I'm not sure about the names of the individually wrapped chocolates, sorry.

Now,  thanks to Mr. Ben Chan, who franchised a store for all the Pinoys to enjoy! It is located at:

Building 5 B5 (between Figaro and Alessi)
Bonifacio Global City, Taguig

You can also visit their website at: http://patchi.com/

If you want to buy some, note that they will charge you by the gram. I think less than Php 5.00 per gram of Patchi Chocolate. Quite expensive, yes. But it's really worth it.

@Joy:

You could be experiencing, what the doctors call, Reactive Hypoglycemia when you eat food that has a high level of sugar.

I have also read that if you have a blood sugar problem, your pancreas will increase production of insulin, therefore making you sweat more.

Another possible problem is that maybe you are allergic to some types of ingredients that are used in the candy, like chocolate or other types of sugar/sweetener.

But to be sure, you might want to consult a specialist - maybe an Allergologist/Allergist to see if you are allergic to Chocolates.
