King Bee Chinese Food- Review

Probably one of the best, Chinese restaurants here in the Philippines. King Bee looks ordinary (like fast food) but, they have great food quality and huge servings. (They boast about it ^_^)

They carry the taste similar to popular Chinese restaurants like Gloria Maris but, with a cheaper price…I guess. ^_^

For the 3 of us we ordered:

-         Hot Pot Braised Liempo with Taro (Small)
-         Chef Suggestion Stewed Broccoli with Golden Mushroom (Small)
-         Yang Chow Fried Rice (Small)

Braised Leimpo with Taro

For a small sized order, this is probably huge! I think it contained at least 10 slices of pork. With that amount, this dish is ideal for 4 to 5 hungry persons. The sauce is very flavorful with a hint of Star Anise.

Php 240 (small)

Stewed Broccoli with Golden Mushroom

Ideal for 3 to 4 persons. The Broccoli is cooked perfectly, it remained crunchy. The dish is packed with delicious mushrooms and other vegetables swimming in tasty sauce.

Php 230 (small)

Yang Chow Fried Rice

Typical, but still good. This time, the serving was quite small compared to the other dish. We had to order two additional cups of rice.

Php 190 (small)

Note:

- Their floor is very slippery. I almost slipped on my way to the hand washing area. Even though it was raining that night, I know it was not water. It’s oil/grease!  Their staff even walks funny—the kind of walk where, “I should be careful, because I might slip!”

RATING:

9 out of 10 Stars!
